Please note that any type of exhibition and any conferences/ seminars which involves experts & specialist talks must have permission from the Dubai Economic Department. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure this is processed timely. Dubai Economic Department permissions must be submitted minimum 15 working days prior event date.
Charges for DED Permit Application resumes to AED 520.00 per application, payment which must be accompanied along with the following documentation:
• Brief about the event
• Color passport of the booker
• Mobile contact number of the booker
• Number of speakers and their roles
• Emails and contact number of the speakers
• Emails and contact number of the speakers
• Color Clear or Scanned Passport copy of the speakers with the following information:
– Full Name
– Passport Number
– Issue and Expiry Dates
– Issuing Country
– Residency Visa Page (in case of UAE residents)
– For Indian Nationals the first 3 (three) pages of the passport (with the parents page)
Should Speakers Mobile and Email not be available, the hotel requires a formal email from the booker stating this data is not available, and his/her contact details (Mobile number and Email) can be used for the registration.
Should the speakers change closer to the date of the event a new application must be submitted.
Without the permission, the hotel is not in the position to proceed with the event, and cancellation charges will apply accordingly.
As per the new DTCM regulations, all entertainment, except wedding and birthday celebrations, must apply for an entertainment permit.
